Hyderabad Airport Terminal
Hyderabad Airport Terminal was named after Rajiv Gandhi, former prime minister of India.
It is one of the largest hubs in India in terms of business and passenger numbers, handling over 12 million passengers per year.
Hyderabad Airport is one of India’s Greenfield airports, awarded with international recognition certificates such as the Five Star Certification for Health and Safety Management by the British Safety Council and the Golden Peacock Award for Environment Management in 2015.
Levels
Hyderabad Airport Terminal consists of a single building for both Domestic and International flights.
The western side hosts international flights while the eastern hosts domestic flights.
The main terminal consists of 8 levels:
Arrivals and Departures are in a single level including the following services: Food and drink, stores, smoking lounge.
Passengers will find baggage claim area, access to transportation...
In the boarding area there is access to gates 22 to 30B, and also to 25A and 25H gates two levels down.
Facilities: 46 immigration counters, baggage handling system is a 4-level in-line baggage screening system x-ray, 96 check-in desks, 19 kiosks for self-check-in, 9 gates divided by seven on the south side and two on the north side.
Hajj Terminal
Hyderabad Airport is also equipped with a special terminal for Hajj pilgrims only open during Hajj pilgrimage to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. It is located adjacent to the main terminal.
